13 Matao artists living in the homeland & sanlagu creatively embody personal & family stories

MALI’E’ • INETNON — a 13 moon online creative development cohort. Thirteen artists will learn traditional chants & Matao philosophical concepts as they creatively embody personal & family stories. The artists engage Camacho’s auto-ethnochoreographic process to unearth the seeds of solo works and their own creative methodologies.

This cohort will be the core performers in TÁTAOTAO, a new ritual performance & community activation that will be presented in three locations— Låguas (the Mariånas), Tongva Territory (Los Angeles) & dxʷdəwʔabš Territory (Seattle).
